It is indeed heartening to note that Star of Mysore has stepped into 45th year of service from Feb. 16, 2022. SOM has been providing yeoman service to Mysureans for 44 long years and going strong by the day.
With balanced coverage of local news, politics, culture, entertainment, sports and thoughtful columns by eminent personalities, SOM has made a name and carved a coveted place for itself in Mysuru.
“Voice of the Reader” as the name suggests has been an effective medium for the readers to raise issues affecting their neighbourhood and connect with the authorities.
I can personally vouch for the effectiveness of this column as many issues raised here have been taken note of by the authorities and resolved.
A day never ends without a dose of SOM. Hoping to see many more years of service from the STAR. Congratulations to the management and staff of SOM.
