Bengaluru: The Congress party has released the list of 40 star campaigners for LS election in Karnataka. Interestingly, the name of Ramya, actor and former MP, has been missing and replaced by another popular South Indian actor Kushboo Sundar.
As per Representation of the People Act, 1951, Section 77(1), Congress has released the list of star campaigners for the election to be held on Apr. 18, according to AICC General Secretary and MP Motilal Vohra.
The list includes Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra, AICC President Rahul Gandhi, former PM Dr. R. Manmohan Singh, Karnataka In-charge K.C. Venugopal, KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao, former CM Siddharamaiah, Dy.CM Dr. G. Parameshwara, Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, D.K. Shivakumar, H.K. Patil, C.M. Ibrahim, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sachin Pilot, Kushboo Sundar, K.J. George, Jayamala, Motamma, Umashri, Mukhyamantri Chandru, Roshan Baig, H.C. Mahadevappa,V.R. Sudharshan, B.L. Shankar and Ivan D’Souza among others.
