Mysuru: The Department of Psychiatry, MMC&RI, will be hosting a two-day mid-term Continuing Medical Education (CME) on ‘Psychodermatology in Clinical Practice’, under the aegis of Karnataka Chapter of Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) at Quorum Hotel on Vinoba Road in city on Apr. 5 and 6.

Organising Chairman Dr. B.N. Raveesh said that MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. K.R. Dakshayani will inaugurate the CME at 10.15 am tomorrow.

IPS National President-Elect Dr. T.S. Satyanarayana Rao will be the chief guest.

Dr. Raveesh said that Psychiatrists Premier League (PPL) Cricket tournament, has been organised as part of the event, under the aegis of Royal Mysuru Organising Committee.

Pointing out that matches will be held under two categories (men and women), he said that five teams will be participating in the men’s category, for ‘Raja Kesari Sripurusha Cup’ and four teams will be participating in women’s category for ‘Chamundi Cup.’

The matches will be held at Maharaja’s College Grounds and Coffee Board Grounds along Bogadi Road. Karnataka Under-19 women’s team cricket captain Nesara Satish will inaugurate at 1.30 pm tomorrow (Apr. 5) at Maharaja’s Grounds.
