Nurture bond built over years on campus: Trishika Kumari Wadiyar

Mysore/Mysuru: Royal family member Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar congratulated the students of MYRA School of Business (MSB) Mysuru for their achievements and emphasised on the value of service to contribute towards the growth and betterment of the society in many ways, small and big.

Trishika, who was the chief guest, spoke during the convocation ceremony of Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)-2023 held recently at MYRA School.

Trishika also advised the graduates to nourish the relationships built over their two years on campus for their life, as it helps in the rainy days of their life’s journey.

Delivering the keynote address, Director, Aquasail Private Ltd. Zia Hajeebhoy, spoke about the values of life — generosity, dignity, relationship building, giving and taking gracefully and navigating through the life grounded.

She gave examples of how she learned and imbibed the values taught by her grandmother and also through her corporate career.

In his address, Chairman of Board of Governors and Dean Dr. Ramasastry Ambarish, mentioned about the goal of building a “Top tier Business School in Mysuru” and MSB’s mission of “developing future-ready and globally competent business leaders rooted in Indian ethos”. 

MSB’s PGDM is now “Digital Mastery” programme which includes a complete portfolio of courses tailored to impart skills needed to thrive in the digital economy for students.

 Managing Trustee of MYRA Kantharaj Urs advised the students to stay connected to their alma mater as they are the torch-bearers of the institution’s legacy. Urs advised to always remember that challenges are merely opportunities in disguise, to embrace them with open arms, for it is through adversity that they will truly discover their strengths.

MYRAcles Mohamed Haroon Khatib, J.A. Praveen and Abhinav Reddy Uppalapati, who made it to ‘Honor Board-Academic Excellence,’ shared their experience.

 The students of PGDM-2023 batch along with their family members attended the ceremony.
