Mysore/Mysuru: A day after thousands of students thronged Crawford Hall, the administrative headquarters of University of Mysore (UoM) to apply for the University’s Convocation on the last day of the deadline on Thursday, the UoM today (Apr.23) issued a notification extending the deadline to apply for the University’s 101st Convocation, the date of which is yet to be finalised.
The notification, signed by the University Registrar (Evaluation)Prof. A. P. Jnanaprakash, said that the 101st Annual Convocation of the University has been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 positive cases.
Students who have qualified for Graduate, Post-Graduate and Ph.D degrees in Sept-Oct.2020, can apply for receiving their degrees at the Convocation along with payment of the stipulated fee and two-photographs till the date to be specified by the University in the coming days.
