Returns gold earring, purse to owner

Mysore/Mysuru: A Traffic Police Constable, attached to Devaraja Traffic Police Station, turned into a Good Samaritan and returned the valuables he had found, to the rightful owner, thus displaying his honesty.

Traffic Constable Arun Koushik, who was on duty near Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle (Hardinge Circle) on Monday morning, found a purse containing a pair of gold earrings and a mobile phone in it.

He then went through the calls made from the phone and somehow traced the owner of the lost valuables as a resident of Alanahalli and informed about it. Constable Arun, after summoning the owner of the gold earrings and mobile phone to the spot, handed over the same to the rightful owner, thus displaying his honesty.
