Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested two persons who were reportedly trying to sell stolen articles and recovered gold jewels, a laptop, mobile phone and two bikes together worth Rs.3.5 lakh.
The accused are identified as Wasim Pasha and Umar Sharif of Rajiv Nagar 2nd Stage. On a tip off, the Police nabbed the two accused near VTU College recently where they were allegedly trying to sell the stolen goods.
On interrogation, it was learnt that the duo had broken into a house near Gupta Store in Rajiv Nagar 2nd Stage a couple of days ago and stolen a laptop, mobile phone, jewels and two bikes at other places. Udayagiri Police have registered the case.
