Cops trace man with 201 traffic violation cases, seize bike

Mysuru: Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have traced a man who was served with 201 notices for various traffic violations in city and had not paid the fines.

The Traffic Cops on the night of July 22 were conducting checking on Mirza Road near Jayachamaraja Circle (Hardinge Circle) when a man riding a Bajaj Platina bike (KA-55 E-4785) suddenly took a ‘U’ turn on seeing the Cops and tried to flee.

But the Traffic Cops managed to catch him and on checking through their hand-held electronic gadget, the Cops came to know that the man, identified as Roshan Ali Baig of Rajivnagar, was served 201 traffic violation notices and had not paid  the fines.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Inspector Harish Kumar, who seized the bike, issued another notice to Roshan besides asking him to pay the fines immediately.

City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao has asked those who have not paid the fines for traffic violations despite being served notices to immediately pay the same failing which legal action would be taken against them.
