Mysuru: A special training programme on safety and disaster management was organised at the conference hall of the Mysuru City Police Commissioner’s Office on Sept. 22, ahead of the Dasara festival.
The programme focused on ensuring the safety of domestic and international tourists visiting Mysuru, as well as city residents and on strengthening preparedness for a safe and successful Dasara celebration.
Pradeep, head of the ‘Tejas Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre’, conducted the training session and briefed city officials on precautionary safety measures, disaster preparedness and management protocols.
Senior Police Department officers and Inspectors from all Police Stations across Mysuru city participated in the programme.
