Corporator extends helping hand

June 27, 2021

In a bid to help those undergoing difficulties during the current pandemic, MCC Ward No. 9 Corporator Samiulla Khan and his brothers came to the help of the residents by organising health check-up for more than 500 widows, providing free medicines besides distributing grocery kits to the poor.

The Corporator and his brothers have been distributing free food to about 700 patients at K.R. Hospital since 35 days and have provided grocery kits to more than 300 auto drivers and tongawallas. Fodder for horses was also provided.

“As lockdown has been extended till July 5, we will continue our social service to help the poor and the needy till the city is unlocked,” said Samiulla.
