Corporator, Yadavagiri Residents’ Association stage protest

Mysuru: Alleging that MCC Health officials had not visited the Ward since about six months despite being requested by the area Corporator, Ward 18 Corporator Guru Vinayak, Yadavagiri Residents’ Welfare Association Convener S.K. Dinesh and area residents staged a protest in front of MCC Zone 4 office here this morning.

Association Convener S.K. Dinesh, speaking to SOM said that Yadavagiri is a well kept area with a lot of green cover resulting in falling of dry leaves daily which are being piled up.

He alleged that no MCC vehicle is provided to clear the piles since about six months resulting in the accumulation of dry leaves and said that miscreants were setting fire to the dry leaves which was polluting the environment.

Meanwhile, MCC Commissioner K.H. Jagadeesha, who arrived at the spot, spoke to the protestors and promised to undertake inspection of the area from tomorrow besides assuring to solve their problems, Dinesh added.
