Mysuru: Marking Kannada Rajyotsava, Cosmopolitan Club of Mysuru felicitated 77 senior members of the Club who have crossed 75 years of age at a programme organised by the Club at it’s premises on Dr. S. Radhakrishnan  Avenue in city yesterday evening (Nov. 24).

Also, the Club distributed prizes to winners of various sports competitions including Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Snooker and Running in which a number of Club members and their children had participated earlier in the day.

President of Cosmopolitan Club C. Narayanagowda said, “The Club is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year and for the first time, senior members of the club who have crossed 75 years of age are feted. At the same time we are celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava along with the anniversary event.”

 Club Members including T. Shyamsundar, Sandhya Dinesh, Ramesh and M.N. Nandish entertained the gathering by singing Kannada movie songs. Club Vice-President S. Dwaraki, Secretary H.N. Jaipal, Kirtikumar, G. Sanjay, Arvind Nadig, S. Sandeep, M.J. Charan, M.S. Jayaprakash, Uma Anil and others were present.
