Mysuru: A ten-day Cotton Silks, Craft Expo began at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road from May 25. The expo will end on June 5 and it is open from 10.30 am to 9 pm. The aim of the expo is to display the talent of weavers, craftsmen and artists from different parts of the country.
Some of the materials on display include block print dress materials, suit tops, printed and traditional bed sheets, Rajasthan’s Sanganeri sarees, West Bengal’s Kantha works, Kashmir shawls, dopian, sarees, Ikkat tops, Telengana’s Kalankari, Benaras’ Zumbani, silk sarees, dress materials, Uttar Pradesh’s bed sheets, cushion covers, pillow covers, Madhya Pradesh’s Maheswari sarees, cotton silk and sarees, Bihar’s dress materials, and several other handloom, handicraft items are available at discount prices.
