Mandya: In a tragic incident, a couple in their thirties, ended life by hanging self at their house in Dodda Arasinakere village of Maddur taluk in the district early this morning.
The deceased couple have been identified as Venkatesh (36) and Sujatha (32). The couple had entered wedlock in a love marriage a couple of years ago.
The incident came to light when the couple did not come out of the house till late in the morning.
The cause of the couple taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. But it is suspected that the couple may have committed suicide due to dejection in life.
K.M. Doddi Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
