COVID-19 guidelines violation: Cops seek Court’s permission to book case against hotel cashier

Mysore/Mysuru: Devaraja Police have sought the Court’s permission to register a case against the cashier of a hotel for violating COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Government.

Following the rapid spread of COVID-19 second wave in the State, the Government had issued various guidelines such as wearing face masks, maintaining social distancing etc. to be followed compulsorily to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

On Apr. 12, during inspection, the Police found that the COVID-19 guidelines were violated at a hotel on D. Devaraja Urs Road and hence have sought permission from the Court to register case against the hotel cashier, according to a press release.
