COVID War Room set up in city: Calling volunteers

October 12, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: In order to facilitate quick shifting of COVID infected people to hospitals, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has set up a COVID War Room at Town Hall in the heart of the city.

The MCC, in association with the District Administration and Health and Family Welfare Department, has already set up 22 COVID testing centres, from where those tested positive for the deadly virus, will be shifted to COVID Hospitals.

Officials from the MCC and the Health Department have been deputed at the centre, who will appropriately guide the infected persons. In order to keep the War Room at Town Hall in full preparedness at any point of time, the MCC has planned to utilise the services of volunteers, for which it has invited applications from interested persons.

For details and registration as volunteers, contact Ph: 0821-2418800 or 2418816 or 2440890 or 94498-41196 or 81057-39384, according to a press release from MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde.
