Over 500 youngsters have already enrolled in this group and providing their valuable suggestions to combat the virus in rural areas in a more effective manner. I would like to advise the district administration to set up a Corona Committee having Gram Panchayat (GP) President, GP members as well as Village Accountants and Health Inspectors as its members to organise Corona awareness and vaccination programme for villagers. Government schools, community halls and hostels can be used as Corona Isolation Centres. Administration can admit the infected patients and provide treatment in these isolation centres. I would also urge the State Government to supply more number of PPE kits, vaccines, oxygen and all necessary medications to Taluk-level Hospitals,”  he said.
