Mysuru: “Education is the key to success in life and there is no limit to skills for children to acquire. Creating opportunities for children will help them to achieve their goals,” said National Awardee and Harohalli Gram Panchayat’s Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) M. Shobharani.
She was speaking at the valedictory function of ‘Besige Bandi’ Summer Camp, organised by Nypunya School of Excellence at its premises in R.T. Nagar here recently.
“It is inevitable for each one of us to live in the world of advanced technology. It is our responsibility to create awareness among our children about our culture and tradition. Every educational institutions have the responsibility to promote the culture and traditions of the country by creating opportunities for the children to know in depth about it,” Shobharani said.
Stating that everyone must accept the opportunities available for them without hesitation, she said, “Everyone must have enough courage to accept the challenges and must have the urge to achieve the goals.”
“Education and experience have huge differences. Experience can be gained only by experiencing it. If a degree is like an indication of being qualified, our self-confidence is an indication of our success. The summer camp has succeeded in introducing our culture and creating awareness about the same to the children,” she added.
Nypunya School of Excellence Founding-Chairman R. Raghu, who presided over the event, said: “Good co-ordination and relationship between teachers and parents help in building a bright future for the children.”
The children performed folk dance, drama, rendered songs which they had learnt in the camp. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various games conducted during the camp.
Siddarameshwara Trust President Kenchappa and Radio Jockey (RJ) Avinash were felicitated on the occasion. School Principal Shilpa Prashanth and others were present.
