Nanjangud: Nanjangud Police, have arrested five persons who were involved in cricket betting and have seized Rs. 42,000 cash, six mobile phones from them.
The arrested have been identified as Krishna, Prakash, Suresh, Shivanna and Nataraj, all from Nanjangud.
Acting on a tip off, that cricket betting was taking place at a house on the 7th Cross in Srikantapuri Layout, the Police raided the place and arrested the five accused.
SI Nataraj said that a case has been registered in this regard.
