Cyclists go on expedition to create awareness on pollution

A group of 16 cyclists from Mysuru pedalled from Gudalur to Ooty to create awareness about health, fitness and eco-friendly transport with the motto “Use of cycles will reduce air pollution.” Vinay Singh, a techie from Bengaluru in association with Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) Gokulam, Mysuru unit, organised the event.

The cyclists of all age group ranging from 17-52 years completed a total distance of 51 km uphill ride having an elevation of 6000 ft in six hours.  Former MLC D. Made Gowda, who is also the State President of YHAI (Karnataka) and H. Ravikumar, Unit Chairman congratulated the team.
