Anup Kumar (50), formerly Bureau Chief of ETV Kannada, Mysuru, passed away in the wee hours of today at Manila in Himachal Pradesh.
A Senior Journalist, who had also served at India Today in New Delhi, Anup was on a tour with his family when he suffered a massive cardiac arrest and died en route hospital.
He leaves behind his mother, wife, a son and a host of relatives and friends.
Anup’s body will be brought to city from Manali Government Hospital this evening and kept for public viewing at his Vijayanagar residence here.
Last rites will be held at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam.
