The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Mysuru, has organised the 111th birth anniversary celebrations of former Chief Minister of Karnataka late D. Devaraj Urs at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road in city on Aug. 20 at 11 am. Earlier, the statue of Devaraj Urs in the new DC’s Office premises in Siddarthanagar will be garlanded at 10 am, according to a press release from the District Officer of the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
