Mysuru:  Dr. D.C. Nanjunda, Associate Professor, Centre for the study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, University of Mysore has been awarded Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) in Sociology by the Srinivasa University, Mangalore for his thesis titled “Nature and Dynamics of Health Culture: A sociological examination on the changing health seeking behaviour and medical pluralism of the rural population in South Karnataka-India.”

Dr. D.C. Nanjunda also holds Ph.D in Anthropology  under the guidance of Prof. M. Annapurna in 2008 from the University of Mysore.
