D. Parashiva Shetty (63), a retired Judicial Officer of the city, passed away at Bengaluru on Sunday.
He had served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Mysuru, Nanjangud, Chamarajanagar and Ballari Courts. After retirement, he practiced as an advocate in Mysuru. His son and daughter too are advocates.
Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva burial grounds in Vidyaranyapuram yesterday.
The City Court observed a two-minute silence on Monday as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
