D.V.S. Iyer (97), former Professor of Civil Engineering at MIT, Manipal, former Executive Engineer at Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal, former Principal of Mulbagal Polytechnic, Mudra specialist and educator,  passed away at his daughter’s house in Coimbatore yesterday.

A resident of Mysuru, he is survived by his wife, two sons, three daughters, son-in-law,  daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held tomorrow at 2 pm in Coimbatore, according to family sources.
