Daily wager beaten to death in N’gud:  Four arrested

Nanjangud: Nanjangud Police have arrested four persons for beating to death a daily wager, who was mistaken to be a thief in the wee hours of Sunday after tying him to an electric pole.

Disclosing this at a press conference, SP Ravi D. Channannavar said that the arrested have been identified as Chandrashekar, Kemparaju, Madegowda and Swamy, residents of Korehundi village.

The arrested had tied the daily wager identified as Ramesha of Badanavalu village to an electric pole in Korehundi village after mistaking him to be a thief and had thrashed him severely leading to his death.
