Daksha FGC celebrates 1st Graduation Day

Mysuru: Daksha First Grade College (FGC) celebrated its first Graduation Day recently with grandeur, marking a historic milestone in the institution’s academic journey.

Prof. N.K. Lokanath, Vice-Chancellor of Mysore University, was the chief guest. Dr. P. Jayachandra Raju, President, Global Education Trust (GET), presided.

P. Harish, Director, Higher Education, GET, Dr. K.V. Suresh, Principal, Dr. H.R. Arpita, IQAC Coordinator & MBA Head and Sudha, MCA Head, were present.

In his address, Harish highlighted the institution’s growth since 2022, with the addition of MBA and MCA programmes, a research centre and strong placement records — nearly 60% of students placed in reputed companies.

Prof. Lokanath urged graduates to embrace lifelong learning, discipline and adaptability in the face of evolving technology and career demands. He said that success lies not only in marks but in skills, values and responsible citizenship.

Dr. Jayachandra Raju, in his presidential remarks, reminded students that as the first graduating batch, they carry the responsibility of upholding the college’s values and legacy. He stressed integrity, humility and continuous pursuit of excellence.

Graduates shared heartfelt experiences, expressing gratitude to faculty and parents. Certificates were distributed, symbolising the completion of one chapter and the beginning of new opportunities.
