Dalit Sangharsha Samithi to hold State-level meet on Aug. 14

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (DSS) State President Dr. N. Murthy has announced that DSS will hold a State-level conference at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan in Bengaluru on Aug. 14 and a new political party will also be formed on the same day.

Disclosing this at a press meet held at Patrakartara Bhavan recently, he said “On that day, the name of new political outfit, its symbol and flag will be announced officially. The new outfit has already been registered with the Central Election Commission as a National party. For the first time since independence, the party has been registered by the leaders of the exploited community of Southern  India. After deliberations with other like-minded organisations and intellectuals for three years, we have come to this final conclusion. The BJP Government at the Centre is a communal party, even the Congress is adopting a soft communal agenda and so is JD(S). All these parties are exploiting the dalits and hence we are forming a new party.”
