I am writing to bring to your attention a serious road safety concern involving a biker endangering the public near Aroma Bakery, close to Manasagangothri on Bogadi Road.
At approximately 10.45 am when the road was busy with vehicular traffic, a motorcyclist bearing the registration number KA-09-ET-3820 was spotted transporting 12-foot-long aluminium profiles on his bike.
These metal sections dangerously protruded about 4 to 5 feet behind and 3 to 4 feet in front of the vehicle.
This creates a significant hazard for other road users, particularly when the biker turns, as the extended lengths drastically increase the turning radius and could easily strike nearby vehicles or pedestrians on the busy roads.
I urge the Traffic Police and the transport authorities concerned to take immediate action to prevent potential accidents and ensure public safety on this busy stretch.
