Mysore/Mysuru: The 11 newly-elected office-bearers of Dargahi Masjid on Sawday Road in Mandi Mohalla were felicitated by the office-bearers of Tanzeem Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath Trust at a function held under the Chairmanship of Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff at the residence of Trust Secretary Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi in Subashnagar here recently.
The new office-bearers, who were felicitated are Moulana Abdul Salam Razvi, Ayub Shariff, Mohammed Jaffer, Moulana Shabeer Hussain Hasmathi, Iqbal Pasha, Naveed Ahmed, Mohammed Irfan, Mohammed Fiyaz, Sharfuddin, Riyaz Ahmed and Shafiulla Baig.
The felicitation programme began with the recital of verses from the Holy Quran by Moulvi Gayaz and phrases of Prophet Muhammad Nath Shariff read by Hazarath Moulana Shabeer Hussain Hasmathi.
Earlier Trust Secretary Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi welcomed the gathering. In his address, Jameel Ahmed said that since the inception of the Trust in 1970, the Trust is rendering yeomen services.
Trust President Dr. Mehboob Khan felicitated the newly elected office-bearers while Ulmas, Sir Khazi and others greeted the new office-bearers. Joint Secretary of the Trust Fiyaz Ahmed proposed a vote of thanks.
Trust Joint Secretary Fiyaz Ahmed, Moulana Mohammed Ali, Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, S.K. Mudasir Pasha, Syed Masood Razvi, Shakeel Ahmed Ashrafi, Ashfaq Ahmed and others were present.
