Dasara Adventure Sports organised by Dasara Sports Sub Committee was inaugurated by Sports Committee Deputy Special Officer and SP Ravi D. Channannavar and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner G. Jagadeesha, at ground located near Lalitha Mahal Helipad, here this yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Channannavar called upon youths to take to adventure sports as it can help them participate in rescue operations at the time of natural calamities.
People can experience adventure sports such as rope laddering, wall climbing, zoomering, balance walk among others. Entry fee for each sport is Rs. 50 and will open from 8.30 am to 6 pm till Sept. 28.
Sub Committee President G. Somashekar, CESC General Manager and Sub Committee Working President Satish Kumar, DYES Assistant Director Suresh and others were present.
