Dasara guest spends an hour at Book Fair

Mysuru:  Abhinava Sri Gavisiddeshwara Mahaswamiji of Gavimutt, Koppal, who inaugurated the Dasara festivities atop Chamundi Hill yesterday, visited the Dasara Book Fair at the Bharat Scouts and Guides Grounds this morning.

Earlier, the Koppal Seer visited Sri Ramakrishna Ashram’s Viveka Smaraka on Narayana Shastri Road.

Showing keen interest in books, the Seer spent more than an hour at the Book Fair, visiting every stall. He also purchased books, enquired about several titles and received books presented by publishers.

The Book Fair has a wide collection of books on various subjects for readers of all age groups. Works on literature, novels, technology, music and other subjects are on display, attracting book lovers and literary enthusiasts looking for titles of their choice.

While social media and digital platforms have changed reading habits, books continue to hold their appeal, offering readers an experience that often stays with them long after they have finished reading.

Kannada Book Authority Chairman Dr. Manasa and former Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Chandrashekar accompanied the Seer.
