Mysuru: Dasara festivities are fast approaching and like every year this year too the whole city will look like a fairyland right from the illumination of the Mysore Palace to the heritage buildings and the circles by Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company (CESC).
At a meeting held at the CESC Office in Kuvempunagar, here recently, more than 15 industrialists of various companies participated. About 13 companies proposed the names of the Circles they are interested in illuminating.
The following are the Companies and Circles: Automotive Axle – Ramaswamy Circle and Aishwarya Petrol Bunk, TVS Company – Hardinge Circle, Mall of Mysore – Kurubarahalli Circle, J.K. Tyres – Railway Station Circle, SBI – Ayurveda Circle, Rane Madras – Metropole Circle, Narayana Heart Hospital and Columbia Asia Hospital – Columbia Asia Hospital Junction, Arya Vaidya Shale – RTO Circle, Hotel Quorum – K.R. Circle, Gopal Gowda Hospital – Nazarbad Police Station Circle, Ranga Rao and Sons – Vani Vilas Circle, Kadakola’s SKF-Mysuru-Nanjangud Ring Road Junction and Kuvempunagar CESC Office – Sayyaji Rao Road Circle.
A few more Circles have to be illuminated but a few industrialists were absent. Another meeting will be called shortly and finalised, said CESC Executive Engineer Somaraj.
Mysuru Circle Superintending Engineer Srinivasmurthy, N.R.Mohalla Division Executive Engineer Swamy, VV Mohalla Division’s Ramachandra, Nanjangud’s Engineer Ramachandra and others participated.
