Mysuru: Kannada Book Authority, Kannada and Culture Department, Mysuru Dasara Festival Committee, will be jointly organising Kannada Book Exhibition from Oct.10 to 19 at CADA premises in city.
The Authority has invited entries from reputed publishers and publishing houses to take part in the exhibition. Permission will be given to open 50 stalls for publishers.
The Authority will be collecting Rs.2,000 rent and Rs.1,000 security deposit amount from the publishers. Those interested may obtain the application available at the Office of Kannada Book Authority, J.C. Road, Bengaluru or contact the Office of Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture in their districts for details. Applications can also be downloaded from: www.kanna dapustakapradhikara.com
Those who want to set up their stall should draw the DDs separately (Rs.2,000 for rent and Rs. 1,000 security deposit) in favour of Administrative Officer, Kannada Book Authority, Bengaluru.
