Mysuru: ‘UNIQUE MYSURU-2,’ a day-long Dasara Photography Contest and Exhibition, organised by A&A Creations, began at Suchitra Art Gallery in Kalamandira premises here this morning.
Pratibha Chandan, President, Karnataka Women’s Photographers’ Welfare Association, Bengaluru, inaugurated the expo.
Photographs captured by photography enthusiasts during Dasara Festival in city, are on display at the expo. Photos of the glittering Palace during night, illuminated streets and heritage structures, Jumboo Savari, tree lightings, different views of the city Palace feature in the expo.
N. Skandan, a student from Hunsur, bagged the first prize, while Kishore Kumar of Mandi Mohalla in city, won the second prize . The third prize was shared by Gowreesh of Vidyaranyapuram and Arjun Shiva of Srirampura in city. As part of the expo, a spot photography contest was also held in which Daniel (first), Kishore (2nd) and Sooraj (3rd), all from city, bagged prizes.
