Mysuru: To clear the extra rush of passengers during Dasara, Deepavali and Chhath festivals, South Western Railway will run weekly special trains between Mysuru-Rameswaram for nine trips in each direction.
Train No. 06263 Mysuru- Rameswaram Weekly Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 18:35 hrs every Monday from 5.10.2026 to 30.11.2026 and will arrive at Rameswaram at 11:00 hrs on the next day (Tuesday).
In the return direction, Train No. 06264 Rameswaram-Mysuru Weekly Express Special will depart from Rameswaram at 15:30 hrs every Tuesday from 6.10.2026 to 1.12.2026 and will arrive at Mysuru at 07.45 hrs on the next day (Wednesday).
En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Ramanagaram, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi and Ramanathapuram stations.
The special train will comprise 21 coaches, including 2 AC-2 Tier, 5 AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, 1 Brake, Luggage, Generator Car, and 1 Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van and Divyangjan Coaches.
