Dasara sponsors Randeep seeks industrialists’ support

Mysuru: Dasara Special Officer and Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep held a meeting with prominent industrialists of the city at his office here yesterday regarding the sponsors for Dasara-2017.

The Mysuru Dasara always is different and famous with its culture, tradition and known for the variety of programmes. He gave a call to the industrialists to come forward and sponsor the programmes.

The industrialists have used the basic facilities in Mysuru, which has helped them progress. Dasara is a people’s festival and by using this platform they can grow much better if they sponsor the programmes as that will help them to gain eyeballs, he said.

National and international artistes are participating in the cultural events at the Palace and in Yuva Dasara. Apart from this, various programmes have been arranged at different venues in the city. Also the three days, 3D projection mapping at the Town Hall about the history of Mysore gives an opportunity for sponsors to showcase their businesses, he said.

Representatives from TVS, ITC, Automotive Axle, JK  Tyres, CII and other prominent industrialists participated in the meeting.

Lead Bank Manager K.N. Shivalingaiah, District Industries Centre Joint Director H. Ramakrishnegowda, Tourism Department Deputy Director H.P. Janardhan, Kannada and Culture Assistant Director H. Chennappa, Backward Classes Social Welfare Department District Officer Somashekar, Information and Publicity Department Assistant Director R. Raju and others were present.
