Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised Veena Utsava as part of Veene Sheshanna Day on Nov. 25 at Veene Sheshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar from 10 am to 8 pm.
This festival features seven Veena concerts and lecture demonstrations on the compositions of Veene Sheshanna. The schedule of the festival is as follows: 10 am to 11 am – Vid. Vijayaraghavan accompanied by Vid. G. S. Ramanujam, Vid. S. Manjunath, 11 am to 12 pm – Vidu. Shubha Santhosh accompanied by Vid. P. Nataraj, Vid. Sharath Koushik, 12 to 1.30pm – Lec-dems on compositions by Vidu. Nagamani Srinath, Vidu. Geetha Ramanand, Vid. H. K. Venkatram, Vid. D Balakrishna, presided over by Prof. Mysore V. Subrahmanya, 2.15 pm to 3.15 pm- Vidu. M. R. Manjula accompanied by Vid. A. Radhesh, Vid. V. S. Ramesh, 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm- Vidu. Arunakumari accompanied by Vid. H. L. Shivashankaraswamy, Vid. V. S.
