Hunsur: Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri visited Sabbanahalli Covid Care Centre in Hunsur Taluk yesterday to see treatment of patients at the Centre.

She collected information about the medicines, food and treatment being given to Corona positive patients. 

Later, in an interaction with the patients, she instilled confidence in them and asked them not to get disheartened. “All of you will recover and go back home soon. You would not have come here had you got yourself tested as soon as you got Covid symptoms. Since you hesitated, you have landed here. Don’t worry you will get well soon,” she said.

The DC said ASHA and Anganwadi workers have launched house-to-house survey in Bilikere for early detection and treatment of infected people. They must take steps for admission of people with Covid symptoms into hospitals. 

“Don’t step out of your houses. Come out only if it is necessary and try to reach home once you are done with the work. Follow the guidelines issued by the Government for your safety,” she pointed out.

Assistant Commissioner B.N. Veena, Tahsildhar Basavaraj, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Girish and others accompanied the DC.
