Zilla Panchayat, Karnataka Rajya Madyapana Samyama Mandali, Health & Family Welfare Department, Department of Information & Public Relations and NSS Unit of Maharaja’s College have jointly organised De-addiction Day at Junior BA Hall in the College premises tomorrow (Aug. 1) at 10.30 am marking the birthday of Dr. Mahanta Shivayogi.

A seminar has been organised to create awareness about the adverse effects due to alcohol consumption, smoking, tobacco, drugs etc., according to a press release.
