A State- level PU festival “De Ignite 2022” will be conducted on Nov.18 at De Paul College (affiliated to the University of Mysore), Avverahalli, Belagola, Srirangapatna taluk from 9.30 am.  This fest is exclusively for the students of PU Colleges (XI, XII, IGCS, ICSC, 1st PUC and 2nd PUC). Principal of Excel Public School K.G. Mathew, Principal of De Paul College Rev. Dr. Baiju Antony CM, Rev. Fr. Santoy Kurian CM (Campus Superior and Financial Administrator) and Rev. Dr. Shijo Antony CM (Dean of Studies, De Paul College) will be the chief guests.

This fest includes a total of 10 events organised by various departments — Department of Computer Application: Mind Scape-Quiz Competition and Treasure Hunt, three cultural events: Group Dance, Minute to Fame and Band; Department of Arts: Lit Cliques, Lit Spectaculi; Department of Commerce and Management: Finquissitive and Bizcover; Department of Kannada: Kavyavalokana – Kannada Poetry Composition and Recitation Competition.
