Death of brother in Bengaluru: Body exhumed after two months for post-mortem in Nanjangud

Mysuru: A body, buried two months ago being exhumed for post-mortem has been reported from Kempisiddanahundi in Nanjangud taluk yesterday.

The body of the deceased identified as Bheemraj (35), an auto driver, who died in Bengaluru and buried in Kempisiddanahundi, was exhumed in the presence of Nanjangud Tahsildar by Bengaluru Police who is probing the case.

The body was exhumed following a complaint by the deceased’s brother Manju, who suspected foul play in his brother’s death.

Bheemraj was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home at Chamarajapet in Bengaluru in July. Bheemraj had married Deepika a few months before his death and his body was brought from Bengaluru and buried in Kempisiddanahundi.

Post-Mortem was conducted in the presence of Nanjangud Tahsildar, said Nanjangud Rural SI Puneeth. Samples of the viscera were collected from the body and the body was again buried in the same place.
