Deceased TV anchor’s wife dies

Bengaluru:  Meena, wife of deceased TV anchor and actor Chandan, who had consumed poison in a suicide attempt, succumbed late last night at Victoria Hospital here.

Chandan had died in a road accident near Harihar on NH4 early morning on May 24, when the car he was travelling rammed into a stationary truck.

Chandan’s sudden demise plunged Meena into depression, it is learnt.

She killed her son Tushar late on Wednesday night, before consuming poison at her residence in Doddaballapura in a bid to end her life, following which she was rushed to a private hospital where  she breathed her last late yesterday night.
