Deepak Raj (50), former District Congress General Secretary and a resident of Dattagalli here, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage yesterday evening.
