I am writing to urgently bring to your attention a critical issue regarding the traffic signal at the Vontikoppal junction on the busy KRS Road and Temple Road. The signal at this major intersection has been non-functional for several days, posing a significant risk of accidents.

This junction is particularly busy, and the absence of a working traffic signal is creating confusion and increasing the likelihood of collisions. Despite the evident danger, it seems no action has been taken by the V.V. Mohalla Traffic Police Station — its office located right opposite the Circle — to address this critical safety concern.

I strongly urge the traffic authorities to prioritise this issue and take immediate steps to repair the defunct traffic signal. The safety of numerous drivers and pedestrians depends on the proper functioning of traffic control measures at this junction.
