Delay in running of trains between B’luru-Mysuru

January 18, 2018

Sir,

Of late, trains between Bengaluru and Mysuru are running behind schedule by hours together. This is particularly so from Bengaluru to Mysuru including the prestigious Shatabdi Express. Today one of my relatives bound for Mysuru was stranded in Pandavapura Station by over one-and-a-half-hours.

This disturbance is happening since more than a fortnight and the Railways as usual lack the basic duty of informing the public about the reason for the late running of trains and when it will be rectified.

Those depending on trains for onward journey from Bengaluru by trains and flights are put into lot of inconvenience. Will the concerned clarify?
