A three-day ‘Desi Cotton Mela,’ organised by ‘Sahaja Samruddha’ an Organic Farmers Forum, was inaugurated by Kannada cine-actor Kishore at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road here this morning.  The expo-cum-sale features varieties of spinning wheel and cotton fabrics along with organic products like ragi, jaggery, edible oil, millets and many more. Writer and Environmentalist Nanda Halemane, Desi Cotton conservator Kalappa, Sahaja Samruddha Head Anantha Shayana, Director G. Krishnaprasad, Gandhian Surendra Koulagi, progressive farmer Hombalamma and others were present.
