Bengaluru: JD(S) supremo and former PM H.D. Deve Gowda (in pic) seems to be worried over differences in Mysuru District unit in the party.
The rift in the Mysuru unit has come to the open with Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda and a few other leaders absenting from a meeting of party Legislators and leaders held in Bengaluru recently.
H.D. Deve Gowda is said to be specially worried over the absence of G.T. Devegowda, who has maintained good contact with grass-root level workers.
G.T. Devegowda who is said to be upset over recent developments in the JD(S), has resorted to maintaining silence.
G.T. Devegowda, who is said to have made a lot of groundwork in Hunsur Assembly segment over the past couple of years with an eye on contesting the polls, is learnt to be deeply upset over keeping him out of the party’s poll preparations.
Deeply disappointed over the developments that took place at the party’s both-level meeting in the city recently in which Hunsur workers were reportedly rebuked, G.T. Devegowda is also said to be not happy with State JD(S) Chief H.D. Kumaraswamy for not attempting to pacify the agitated party workers at the meet.
