Mysuru, Oct. 8- ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award will be presented to four achievers from different fields at a programme organised under the aegis of city’s Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust, at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road, at 10.45 am on Oct. 11, in celebration of the 77th birthday of Bharat Scouts and Guides State Commissioner P.G.R. Sindhia, who is also a former Karnataka Minister.
The awardees are V. Manjunath, currently serving as Hassan Additional Deputy Commissioner, Iythichanda Ramesh Uthappa, Resident Editor, Vijaya Karnataka, Mysuru, Srinivas Bahaddur, Director, Vaidyavartha Prakashana and Jahnavi Seethalakshmi Verma, a Limericks writer and Litterateur of Mangaluru.
MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will inaugurate the event in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji. MLA Tanveer Sait and Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. M.G.R. Urs will deliver the felicitation address.
