Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Pratishtapana of Sri Raghavendra Swami Brindavana Sannidhana, Sri Uttaradi Mutt Seer Sri Sri 1008 Sri Satyatma Theertha Sripadangal and Sri Vyasaraja Mutt Seer Sri Sri 1008 Vidyashreesha Theertha Sreepadangal will visit the Sannidhana in Krishnamurthypuram here on June 4 and 5 respectively.
Cultural events from May 28 to June 3
As a prelude to the celebrations, ‘Yugala Jogula’ – A special music programme by Vidushis Ranjani and Gayatri (Chennai) will be held at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram on May 28 at 6.30 pm. They will be accompanied by Vidu. Charumathi Raghuraman on violin, Vid. Sai Giridhar on mridanga and Vid. S.N. Narayanamurthy on ghata. Also, the following events will be held at Raghavendraswamy Mutt premises in Krishnamurthypuram:
May 31 (5 pm): ‘Harinama Sankeerthana’ by Vishwajna Bhajana Mandali.
June 1 (6.30 pm): ‘Dasanjali’ – Dasarapada Recital by Anusha Pavan, Roopa Prabhanjan and Ramya Sudheer.
They will be accompanied by Vid. Sripadadas (Raichur) on harmonium and Vid. Jayatheertha Aadya on tabla.
June 2 (6.30 pm): ‘Muraliya Nadava Keli’ – Flute Recital by Sangeetha Vidwan Chandan Kumar (Mysuru). He will be accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohan Kumar (Mysuru) on violin, Vid. Arjun Kumar (Bengaluru) on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam (Mysuru) on ghata.
June 3 (5.30 pm): ‘Na Ninna Dhyanadoliralu’ – Karnatak Classical Music by Vid. N. Srinath (Mysuru). He will be accompanied by Vid. M.D. Arjun on violin, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam (Mysuru) mridanga and Vid. V.S. Ramesh (Mysuru) on ghata.
